Jupiters abuzz with entertainment on New Year’s Eve
JUPITERS, Townsville’s premier entertainment destination, will be bursting at the seams with entertainment this New Year’s Eve.
Whether it’s a seafood feast, a festive ball, a night out in the casino or simply an intimate dinner date - there’s something available for everyone.
Aqua restaurant will transform into a seafood spectacular catering for up 220 guests per sitting. Everything from fresh prawns to delicious oysters, bugs, whole fish, mussels and smoked salmon will be on the menu as well as the Alaskan chilli crab feature dish.
For a more relaxed atmosphere, the national award-winning, fine-dining restaurant Essence will also be open on New Year’s Eve, showcasing the new, mouth-watering a-la-carte menu with everything from roasted lamb loin to pan fried reef fish available.
Alternatively, revellers could try Jupiters’ newest steakhouse restaurant Kōbe for a delicious meal with an enormous selection of wines.
Jupiters will also host a Masquerade Ball in the grand ballroom that is expected to once again sell out with up to 350 people expected to enjoy the event. For $149 per person, revellers can enjoy a fabulous night in air-conditioned comfort with a three-course plated dinner, five-hour beverage package and live entertainment by local band Abbey Road.
Meanwhile, the casino is also expected to be full of action and will therefore trade 24 hours continuously until 2am on Wednesday January 2.
Chief Operating Officer Will Keiler said Jupiters would be the place for people to welcome-in 2013 with a bang.
“Jupiters really will be buzzing on New Year’s Eve with an array of events and entertainment taking place across the hotel and casino including the Crocs after-party in the Lobby Bar from 10pm.”
