Jupiters brings music legend to Townsville – & the audience chooses the set

HE has a career spanning 25 years and will be hitting the road on his Solo & Select Series II tour in May.

Australian music veteran Diesel is heading North to perform for one night at Jupiters on Friday, May 3rd.

General Manager of Marketing Shalon Lawler said Diesel’s upcoming show would be very unique.

“The audience will play the main part in forming the set list for the night – they will decide on the song choices, forming a tailored set,” Lawler said.

Lawler said the concept would be simple.

“The audience will make their song selection from a list received on entry. The set list for the evening will then get formulated based on those choices,” she said.

“Song choices will span from the first album Johnny Diesel & The Injectors through to Under The Influence along with new titles from Diesel’s forthcoming album as well as songs from some of Diesel’s favourite artists such as Neil Young, Jimi Hendrix & Otis Redding to name a few.
“The idea of letting the audience handpick the songs will certainly make for a spontaneous night of select music.”
